3. Use the scissors to cut the wires that connect the battery and the tank to the device. Be careful not to cut the wires too short. You will need to reconnect them later.

4. Use tweezers to pull out the device’s battery and tank. You should see a small circuit board with two metal contacts on the battery.

5. Take a micro USB or USB-C cable. Use the scissors to strip the ends of the cable. This will expose the red and black wires inside.
